Review: Joik Rosewater Face Mist

Hi loves! I have been all about face mists and all kind of toners. Toner is must have item in my skincare routine as long as I can remember. I feel a good toner keeps my skin smooth and acne free. Anyway today I wanna share with you Joik Rosewater Face Mist (50ml, 7.50EUR).

The face mist comes in a plastic bottle and its easy to use. I spray it onto my skin every morning. The sprayer on it gives a fine and even mist. The 50ml bottle its in is perfect for traveling or keep in my handbag, if I wanna refresh the skin through out the day (no makeup days).

Rosewater is good for the skin and it helps hydrate, refresh, sooth and tone the skin. It also helps to smooth fine lines and wrinkles. At the same time it strengthens the skin and regenerates skin tissue.

I personally wouldn't put much fate into its ability to smooth wrinkles. The reason why I'm so impressed with it, is that it instantly hydrate my skin when applied. I use it after washing my face in the morning and it feels so good sprayed on my face. It also wakes me up and I feel refreshed.

Ingredients: rosa damascena flower water, bensyl alcohol, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate

All the info on the ingredients is from EWG's Skin Deep Cosmetics Database (low hazardmedium hazardhigh hazard). If I haven't colored an ingredient it means I didn't find it in the database.

I'm very happy with this mist and love the rose scent it has <3 I wish it would come in a bigger bottle though. I'll use this 50ml up way too fast. If you wanna check it out for yourself, you can find it here. If you have any recommendation for this type of item let me know in the comments below.

Best Natural Beauty in 2017

Hi loves! Last year went by me so fast and in the beginning of every year I like to do ultimate favorites post. I haven't done any of natural beauty faves, so its time to share all the fantastic products I tried in 2017.

Makeup:

I have been loving Ontic Minerals and I tried so much from the last year. One of my favorites are their Mineral Bronzers and I have shade Sunblessed and Chocolicious (3g, 18.95€, review). These blend like a dream on skin and give the look of natural tan, at the same time both of these give a natural glow to the skin. Both shades are absolutely gorgeous and worth checking out, if you wanna try natural cosmetics or are on a market for new bronzer.
Continuing with Ontic Minerals, I have also added new Mineral Eyeshadows from them in my collection (review). Their eyeshadows are beautiful, specially the loose eyeshadows. They are intense, blendable and the packaging is awesome (there is no mess when using these). Hopefully I can add more colors into my collection this year. They do have some fun colors as well, which I have my eye on. I try to add more color into my looks and not just wear nudes ;)
Next is also Estonian brand and its Le'Maagi. Last year I tried their Eyeshadow in shade 24K Gold (review). The formula of this shadow is one of the best I have tried. It feels so creamy to the touch and the pigmentation of it is out of this world. What you see in the pan is what you get on the lid. I don't own any other eyeshadow, which preforms so well and looks so intense. It makes me wanna get every single shadow they make and see if all their shadows are so brilliant.

Next fave is from Bellapierre Cosmetics and its their Mineral Lipstick in shade Catwalk (review). The shade Catwalk is perfect everyday pinky nude. It goes well with any eye look, feels comfortable on lips and its long lasting for creamy lipstick. I already have picked up few more shades into my collection, which I'll share with you guys this year for sure, keep an eye out for that ;)

Skincare:

Lets continue with skincare faves and this year I didn't find many products to obsess over. One this, which is unique and worth mentioning is  Domina Elegans Golden Beauty Mask (review). This is a gel mask, which bubbles up when applied and get out all the dirt from the skin. I could feel it and my skin looked and felt amazing after using it (its also Estonian beauty brand). I have one of their other masks to try, but this is in my list of skincare items I wanna repurchase.

Next 2 items are from Aïcha and both have been new finds. I love their Cream Milk Cleanser and Salt Face Scrub (review). Both products are gentle to the skin. The cleanser is such a nice step in the morning to cleanse the skin and I love it doesn't dry out my skin and this applies to both products. If I want more hydration I remove the cleanser with toner. The scrub is brilliant as well. It gently remove off all the dirt and leaves my skin soft, smooth and hydrated. With both of these products I haven't felt any uncomfortable tightness on skin, which happens with so many other cleanser.

Hair & Body:

Best hair care find this year is Blessix Hair Silk + Vitamins (review). This is also Estonian beauty brand, which I discovered when I was in Ilu Mess (its Estonian beauty event).  This is used on wet hair, before blowdrying. This gem provides hydration to the hair and also protects against the heat. Every time I use it my hair looks so shiny, healthy and its so much easier to tame it. My hair can be hard to work with, because its naturally dry and wavy.

I have also used it on dry hair and that way it also works for me. It instantly hydrates, gives it shine and makes in manageable. I feel like I don't need to use as much hair oil when I have this hair spray in my routine.
The last awesome natural beauty product I discovered this year is Hoia Lavender, Rosemary & Grapefruit Bodywhip (review). If you are on a lookout for good hydrating body products, this is it. This feels light weight when scooped up and turns into oil when applied on skin. It keeps my skin hydrated all day and the next day and the next day. Its best thing ever!

This is all the awesome products I discovered this year. I'm so in love with every single one and highly recommend any of these items.

What beauty products did you discover last year?

Review: Blessix Hair & Face Serum

Hi loves! I have natural dry hair and now that its color treated I need even more nourishment. I have been using Blessix Hair & Face Serum (11ml, 9.00 EUR). This can also be used on face, but I have used it only in my hair.

The serum comes in a little glass bottle and has a dropper. You might think its too small bottle, but I have used it since October and I still haven't used up half of it. I use 4 drops of it in my hair and it makes the end of my hair look I just got a fresh hair cut.

I don't know why it says serum as it is actually oil. It does sink into the skin and hair fast, doesn't feel heavy and nourishes, in my case my hair. It doesn't have any scent to it, so beauties with sensitive skin can use it too (if you want to use it as facial oil).

I'm so happy I have this in my hair oil collection. It keeps the end of my hair looking healthy, nourished and the ends don't brake as fast. I do use quite a lot of heat on my hair. If you are interested checking it out, you can do so here.

Which is your favorite hair oil?

Review: Bellapierre Cheek & Lip Stain | Pink

Hi loves! I love cream blushes, because how fuss free its to use and I find cream blushes last longer on me. I have been using lately Bellapierre Cheek & Lip Stain in shade Pink ($20.00, 5g). Its also available in shade Coral.

This comes in a little plastic jar and the formula of it is oil free. It blends out super easily. I like to apply a bit of it on the my cheeks and blend out with more tense blending brush. It blends out evenly and I can build it up, if I want stronger looking blush. It might seem bit too pink, but on  pale skin tone it looks very flattering. Down below you can see a swatch of it and also the blended out version (on the right).

Once I set it with translucent powder, all the other powders apply on it as usually and there is no blotchiness, everything looks as it should. I'm really impresses with it and I feel I can use it with any eye look. Its so flattering tone of pink.

I haven't used it on lips, so I can't comment on the staying power on there, but on cheeks it lasted on me all day with out fading or turning it blotchy mess. Also it hasn't broken me out or caused any irritation. Down below you can see all the ingredient list.

There is no scent to it and their products are not tested on animals. They also winner of Natural & Organic Awards Europe 2017.

IngredientsOctyl Palmitate, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Cetyl Dimethicone Petrolatum, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Nylon-12, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Candelilla Cera (Candelilla Wax), Propylene Glycol Laurate, Copernicia Cerifera Cera (Carnauba Wax), Silica, Phenoxyethanol. All the info on the ingredients is from EWG's Skin Deep Cosmetics Database (low hazard, medium hazardhigh hazard). If I haven't colored an ingredient it means I didn't find it in the database.

So far I have been really happy with everything I have tried from the brand. This is such a nice item to add into my mineral makeup collection. If you are interested in this, you can check it out here.

Happy Holidays!

Review: Aïcha Cream Milk Cleanser & Salt Face Scrub

Hi loves! I have been testing out 2 new Aïcha products. I have been using 2 weeks their Cream Milk Cleanser and Salt Face Scrub (100ml, 24.95 EUR/23.50EUR). I love their new white and blue packaging, its beautiful 💙

They make natural, organic products and these are vegan. Both products come is squeeze tube packaging and its easy to get the product out. The formula is with out parabens, chemical and sulphate free. Both products are with Seaweed Extract, Blue Green Algae and Marine Collagen. Marine collagen soothes the skin and seaweed and kelp extract calms and heals the skin. Blue green algae revitalizes and nourishes the skin. Both products fit all skin types and are gentle to the skin.

I have used their Cream Milk Cleanser every morning to cleans my skin. I put some of it on my hands and apply it to dry skin and gently massage. After that I wash it off with warm water. The formula of it is hydrating and exactly what my skin need this time of the year, because of the colder weather. I also used it when I was in Philippines where its hot (30C) and my skin loved it. It just gives the right amount of hydration to my skin and doesn't make it feel stripped. It also makes my skin feel clean and all the dirt is off, not that there is much and I do like to do double cleans in the evenings. This also has the best scent to it, which reminds me of beach and vacation. It does contain fragrance, so it means it might not be the best fit for sensitive skin type.

Ingredients: Aqua, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, Prunus Armeniaca Oil*, Vitis Vinifera oil*, Cocos Nucifera Oil*, Persea Gratissima Oil*, Marine Collagen Extract, Seaweed Extract, Spirulina*, Sea Kelp Extract, Potassium Oleate, Potassium Cocoate, Potassium Citrate, (palm free vegetable) Glycerin, Palm Stearic Acid, Xanthan Gum, Potassium Palm Kernelate, Palm Kernel, Calophyllum Inophyllum Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Parfume

All the info on the ingredients is from EWG's Skin Deep Cosmetics Database (low hazard, medium hazard, high hazard). If I haven't colored an ingredient it means I didn't find it in the database.
*Organic ingredients

Their Salt Face Scrub is super gentle and I also like to use it on my face when its dry (works much better). I feel this is like milk cleanser + the scrub, like hybrid. I use it after removing my makeup with a cleansing oil. This gentle removes all the dirt off my skin and whatever makeup was left behind from the cleansing oil. After I wash it off with water my skin feels smoother, thoroughly cleansed and so soft. I like it cleanses and gives hydration boost to my skin as well. so many scrubs strip the skin and make it feel uncomfortable, but not this one. I'm so in love it the unique formula.

ingredientsAquaCetearyl AlcoholPolysorbate 60Prunus Armeniaca Oil*, Vitis Vinifera oil*, Cocos Nucifera Oil*, Persea Gratissima Oil*, (palm free vegetable) Glycerin, Coco Glucoside, Bambusa Vulgaris ExtractPalm Stearic AcidMarine Collagen Extract, Dead Sea Mineral SaltSeaweed ExtractSpirulina*, Sea Kelp Extract, Potassium OleatePotassium CocoatePalm KernelPotassium Citrate, Xanthan Gum, Juglans RegiaPotassium Palm Kernelate, Ascorbic AcidCalophyllum Inophyllum Oil, PhenoxyethanolEthylhexylglycerinParfume

All the info on the ingredients is from EWG's Skin Deep Cosmetics Database (low hazardmedium hazardhigh hazard). If I haven't colored an ingredient it means I didn't find it in the database.

I'm so impressed with both of the products. Both are gentle to my skin and haven't caused me to brake out or irritated my skin in any way. These have been keeping my skin in good condition and I just love both of these products. And I love the scent of both (the scent on the scrub is lighter, not as noticeable).

These should be available on their page (link) soon (in January). I do like their other skincare products as well and you can find all the reviews on them on my blog.

Wishlist: Pillerkaar | Luuv, Le'Maagi, Amii, Joik

Hi loves! I'm going to Estonia for the holiday's and every time I'm there I visit Pillerkaar, so I put together a little wishlist what I would like to get from there when I visit. They carry only natural beauty products and all are made in Estonia.

The first thing I have in my list is Le'Maagi Highlighters (link) in shade Beach Girl and Champagne Club (16.99 EUR). These look beautiful for my skin tone and I have tried one of their eyeshadows before, which was fab (review), so I have high hopes for these ones as well.

I have also few picks from brand Luuv, which is a new brand for me. I want to try their Shimmering Dry Oil (link), which is with carrot. It contains vitamin A and E, which are both good for the skin and I like the look this type of product can give me. Its also plus it claims to be hydrating.

Another product from them I wanna try is Self Tanning Dry Oil (19.90 EUR). I have heard great things about this tanning oil and it applies evenly on skin, no streaks. Thats what one of the girls told me who works there and uses it herself.

I do have 2 candles in my wishlist and the these have Christmas vibe to them. The first is Amii (which is new brand to me) Scented Gingerbread (7.99 EUR, 110g, link) candle and its a soya wax candle. I love gingerbread cookies this time of the year and I can already imagine how yummy this will smell.

The last item in this wish list is Joik Oh Christmas Tree Soya wax candle (link, 8.35 EUR). This is another holiday themed candle and I already know I like their scented candles. This will make my home smell wonderful.

Have you tried anything from this list?
